We provide NHS primary care through a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, a dietitian, a physiotherapist, psychologists and supporting practice staff.

Who runs the practice

Higham Hill Medical Centre is a partnership holding an NHS contract with NHS North East London Integrated Care Board. The partners are Dr Duncan Wallace, GP Partner (registered with the General Medical Council), and Mr Amer Agha, Partner. Registered address: 258-260 Higham Hill Road, Walthamstow, London E17 5RQ.

Our clinicians

All our doctors are qualified medical practitioners registered with the General Medical Council, and our nurses are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Our physiotherapist, dietitian, pharmacist and physician associates are registered with their relevant professional bodies. You can see individual roles on our team page.

Our practice area

We serve Higham Hill, Walthamstow and the surrounding parts of Waltham Forest, and we also accept registrations from people living outside our immediate area. Home visits are only possible for patients living close enough to the surgery. If you are unsure, call us on 020 8527 2677.

Your rights

You can expect to be treated with respect and dignity, to have your confidentiality protected, to be given clear information about your care and any treatment options, to be seen by an appropriate member of our team, to have interpreting support and reasonable adjustments where needed, and to raise a concern without it affecting your care.

Your responsibilities

Please treat our staff and other patients with courtesy, attend appointments or cancel them as early as you can, keep your contact details up to date, give us accurate information about your health, and order repeat medication in good time. Abuse or violence towards our team is not tolerated.

Our patient information pages set out our policies, including complaints, confidentiality, safeguarding and non-NHS fees. The practice is registered with and inspected by the Care Quality Commission, which rates us Good overall.
