Complaints and feedback

How to give feedback, raise a concern or make a formal complaint.

All patient information

We want everyone to receive a good standard of care. If something has gone wrong or you are unhappy with your experience, please tell us. We take concerns seriously and will try to resolve them as quickly and fairly as possible.

Most concerns can be resolved quickly by speaking to a member of the practice team. If you would like to take the matter further, please contact the practice manager, who will look into your concerns.

You can make a complaint by email to nelondonicb.highamhill@nhs.net, by telephoning the practice on 020 8527 2677, or in writing to the practice manager at 258-260 Higham Hill Road, Walthamstow, London E17 5RQ.

We will acknowledge your complaint, look into what happened and respond to you with an explanation and details of any action we are taking. Further written information about the complaints procedure is available from reception.

If you would prefer not to complain to the practice directly, you can raise your complaint with NHS North East London Integrated Care Board instead. You can also ask the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman to review your complaint if you are unhappy with the outcome.

We welcome positive feedback too. Telling us what went well helps us keep doing it, and you can also leave feedback on the NHS website.

You can also complete the Friends and Family Test, which asks how your experience of our service was. It takes less than a minute, you can complete it at reception, and we review and publish the results every month.
