Higham Hill Medical Centre is proud to be a parkrun practice. parkrun practice is a joint initiative between the Royal College of General Practitioners and parkrun UK that links GP surgeries with their local parkrun.

parkrun is a free, weekly, timed 5k event that takes place every Saturday morning. You can run it, jog it, walk it or volunteer at it, and there is no time limit and no pressure. Our linked event is Walthamstow parkrun.

Taking part is good for physical health, mental wellbeing and social connection, and it is one of the easiest ways to become more active without joining a gym or buying any equipment. Volunteering counts every bit as much as taking part.

We aim to meet on the first Saturday of every month, and we warmly welcome new members. Patients, families, carers and practice staff are all invited, whatever your level of fitness. Register once on the parkrun website, bring your barcode and come and find us.
